Abstract

The main subject of this project is the differential and integral calculus. This research accounts for the scientific revolution in Europe during the 17^th century. Furthermore it accounts for the evolution of the differential and integral calculus, and also explains the difference between Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz’s methods of the infinitesimal calculus. Among these there is an explanation of the differentiation rules, and how the methods were used to find the tangent to the curve including an analyzed example. At last there is an assessment of Newton and Leibniz’s impact on mathematics, the mathematical method and science in general. The work method has been historical method for the assessment and experimental mathematics alongside with the mathematical deductive method for the mathematics. The research revolves around, how the differential and integral calculus was developed and the significance of its development. Abstract

This paper clarifies the Danes’ sport and exercise habits, where the focus is on the factors that have an impact on sport participation. From the review an overview of the Danes sports participation was formed, which showed that sports participation depends on many different factors such as age, gender and length of education. Furthermore the paper examines why sports participation is as it is. This will be explained using different sociological theories which questions whether it is up to the individual himself, or whether it is society that should make definable goals, to be a so-called guideline. Finally, it will be discussed what role the government will have in this whole aspect. Enigma og kryptering under anden verdenskrig

Abstract

The following study examines cryptology while focusing on the crypto machine Enigma during the World War II. The assignment has a shortly focus on the Battle of the Atlantic and it's impact on the British Empire. The assignment also illustrates the former cryptosystems and why these systems are no longer in use.
Encryption is developing rapidly, because it's in everybody interest to keep confidential documents and sensitive information. Furthermore I will elucidate the great significance of Enigma and the impact on the war.
I will demonstrate the construction of the machine as well as the operation. The assignment additionally includes an analysis of the encryption technique RSA as well as the requirements of a modern cryptosystem. The assignment encompasses a mathematical example of the RSA-cryptosystem and mathematical proofs which arguments of the several theorems, which is used behind the RSA.
