Abstract

This project concerns bioethanol as a viable source of energy, and its ability to replace fossil fuels as benzene. The project investigates the construction and function of enzymes and their part in producing 2. generation bioethanol. Furthermore an understanding of the reaction speed is going to contribute to the overall comprehension of the enzymes purpose in 2. generation bioethanol production, and whether it is a necessary link. Through looking at environmental and human right problems as the access to clean drinking water, the study looks at 2. generation bioethanol production and whether or not this source of energy is viable, and what has to be done in order to avoid complications such as using clean African drinking water for fuel purposes. Abstract

This article is about the observation of romaine lettuce growing under different kind of light types.

The photosynthesis’ light reaction and plant pigments are a very central part in this article and therefore also very central for the meaning of the results. By using different light with different waves makes it possible to affect the plants growth just by using different light. This information can be useful in the commercial farming industry because of the economic cost that can be saved by using the right kind of light compared with what results (vitamins, amount, look, etc.) the farmer is interested in. Abstract

This article is about beer brewing and the enzymatic and biochemical processes connected with beer brewing. In addition to this comes an experiment where the enzymes’ ability to split starch under different temperatures is examined. Furthermore, on the basis of an enclosed article as well as on a visit to Carlsberg, the possibilities of future beer brewing are discussed. The article focuses especially on added enzymes and on which economic as well as climate friendly possibilities added enzymes might give. In this context, the Danish part includes a popular scientific article and a meta-analysis of this article. This analysis is based on Danish professional as well as rhetorical terms. [Læs mere…]
