The study investigates whether the American dream still exists. In order to measure that, the study is based on information and knowledge from 3 different perspectives. That type of growing inequality has a negative influence on the social mobility, and the study shows that the inc0me inequality impairs the American Dream of upward m0bility. The study also investigates how political initiatives can have an influence on the American dream. Obamacare is analysed from both an ideological perspective and from a more specific point of view, where the Obamacare subsidies-system is under investigation, to clarify what influence this has on the American dream. Definitively the paper shows that the American dream is not measureable from a statistic point of view, but despite of lack of tangible evidence that the dream is still alive, there is still believe to some extent among the population, in the American dream, and as long as there is believe, the dream cannot be found dead.
